Domestic Pest Control

We understand that having pests invade your home is never a nice experience. Pests can spread disease, look unsightly and cause your house to burn down or flood, in the last seven months we have been to six houses that have been flooded due to mice gnawing through plastic water pipe fittings.

Because you have a pest infestation doesn’t necessarily mean you have a dirty property, however, your friends and neighbours may not know that. Your dog or cat doesn’t know it was the cause of your flea infestation, or the bed bugs you now have as a result of not checking your luggage on return from the States!

So you see, it is easy to have pest problems. Treating pest infestations yourself is possible as there are many over-the-counter options available to you, however, be aware that it is not just the product that you choose to use, it is how you use it that matters.

Are you using the product legally, is it of the correct strength for the job, is it for the pest you are trying to eradicate, can you use it indoors or outdoors, what about secondary poisoning and the extra cost of doing it again because it didn’t work the first time.

Knowing your enemy is important, for example, rats need water, food and harbourage to survive, remove these and you won’t have an infestation, we will happily remove the rubbish for you that causes the harbourage and advise you of other measures you need to take to prevent further infestations.

It is often best to leave it to the professionals who are trained, qualified and insured and know how to deal with certain pests and it will invariably be cheaper in the long run. If we don’t eradicate your pests on the first attempt we will repeat the treatment free of charge*.
